This is a Wild Turkey 75/13/12 barrel at 123pf. For those that have been fortunate enough to taste barrel proof offerings from WT, know that there is some really good stuff they make that shouldn’t be proofed down. The recent Gold Foil release further reinforces this point.
The story with these barrels goes like this. When ABC heard about these barrels being released they hurried to try, and bought 12 of them. They realized that these barrels were special and tried to go back to buy more of the barrels from that release. Unfortunately the entire remaining of the lot got bought by Pablo of Rare Character for their upcoming Pride of Anderson County release.
While those POAC releases can go for a pretty penny, this one is available at a much more reasonable number. It’s available at Tallac Spirits in store as well as online.
